I'm originally from southern AZ and completed my undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. I am a board certified OBGYN who graduated medical school and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
I then worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City as a full-time faculty member and received several teaching awards during my time there. In addition to teaching residents, I sat on the admission committee at Mount Sinai.
Once I turned 40, I realized there was not a lot of guidance for women in our 40s and 50s on how to optimize our health and feel better.
After more than decade in NYC, my husband and I moved to Greenwich, CT where I have been working for 5 years performing obstetrics and surgery at Greenwich Hospital. I am a certified Peri/Menopause Practitioner and a Lifestyle Medicine physician. I speak regularly on women's health and have been featured in Allure Magazine, The New York Times, ABC channel 7, Parents magazine and several podcasts.
I am married to Dr. Tarek Korban, an oral-maxillofacial surgeon in NY and am the mother of 3 young boys. I am an active member of my community and am passionate about supporting the women in my community and especially our female-founded local businesses. I cherish spending time with my family and friends and try to remember that the simple things in life bring the most pleasure.
