Meet the team

Dr. Alicia Robbins

board certified OBGyN, certified menopause practitioner, lifestyle medicine doctor

I'm originally from southern AZ and completed my undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. I am a board certified OBGYN who graduated medical school and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

I then worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City as a full-time faculty member and received several teaching awards during my time there. In addition to teaching residents, I sat on the admission committee at Mount Sinai.

Once I turned 40, I realized there was not a lot of guidance for women in our 40s and 50s on how to optimize our health and feel better.

After more than decade in NYC, my husband and I moved to Greenwich, CT where I have been working for 5 years performing obstetrics and surgery at Greenwich Hospital. I am a certified Peri/Menopause Practitioner and a Lifestyle Medicine physician. I speak regularly on women's health and have been featured in Allure Magazine, The New York Times, ABC channel 7, Parents magazine and several podcasts.
I am married to Dr. Tarek Korban, an oral-maxillofacial surgeon in NY and am the mother of 3 young boys. I am an active member of my community and am passionate about supporting the women in my community and especially our female-founded local businesses. I cherish spending time with my family and friends and try to remember that the simple things in life bring the most pleasure.

She attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. During her time at Sacred Heart University, she served as President of the Student Nurses’ Association and was named Captain of her soccer team.

Following graduation, Sarah accepted her dream job as a Maternity/Labor and Delivery nurse at Greenwich Hospital, where she still works today. Sarah values connecting with her patients on a more personal level and cares deeply about making them feel comfortable by always delivering high quality care.

Sarah Purcell was born and raised just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, but has called Fairfield County her home since 2013.

REGISTERED NURSE + PRACTICE MANAGER

In her spare time, Sarah loves to stay active, spend time with her mini goldendoodle, Benson, and enjoy summers with family and friends on the beaches of Cape Cod with an iced coffee and good rom-com book in hand. She will never pass up a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream or a wine night with the girls.

"They treated me as an individual, considering my physical, emotional and mental well being."
