In-Person Concierge Care

with Emilee Bischoff, NP

This membership is designed for women seeking a truly continuous relationship with their care — not just a one-off visit. As your dedicated clinician, Emilee will guide you through The Robbins Method™ with warmth, clinical precision, and deep listening.

Together, you'll address not only preventative gynecology and breast cancer risk, but explore the deeper factors that often go unaddressed in traditional care — sleep, mood, weight, sexual health, and long-term vitality.

Emilee brings clarity and calm to even the most complex health conversations, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and heard at every step.

With Emilee Biscof, NP as your clinician you can expect comprehensive care with a partner who will manage your preventative care (annual visits) but also optimize hormones, nutrition, weight and quality of life. Care with Emilee offers options for both in person and telehealth care.

Why Choose a Membership?

Personalized Attention
By intentionally limiting patient numbers, The Elm ensures each member receives ample, dedicated appointment time, quicker access to care, and prompt responses to any questions or concerns. This personalized approach fosters a deeper patient-clinician relationship, enhancing the overall quality of care.

Root-Cause Approach
Clinicians at The Elm invest significant time and effort to fully understand each patient's unique health history, lifestyle, and goals. Rather than simply treating symptoms, this approach emphasizes identifying and addressing underlying health concerns to create meaningful, lasting improvements.

Long-Term Wellness
The Elm’s membership model promotes ongoing care and regular monitoring, ensuring sustained and proactive improvements in health and wellbeing. Through consistent, supportive guidance, patients experience better long-term outcomes and improved quality of life.

Responsive Care
Members benefit from highly responsive, personalized support with clinicians available around the clock for urgent health concerns. This ensures peace of mind, knowing expert medical advice and assistance are readily accessible whenever needed.

General Practice Information

  1. What type of care does The Elm offer?
The Elm is a boutique concierge gynecology and hormone therapy practice. We specialize in comprehensive women's health with a strong focus on perimenopause, menopause, and hormone optimization.
  2. Who are the providers at The Elm?
Our care team includes Dr. Robbins, who oversees our clinical model and protocols, and our board-certified nurse practitioners, Katherine Clark , Emilee Bischof and Sarah Purcell, RN. Katherine leads our virtual Hormone Therapy (HT) program, while Emilee offers in-person care as well as hormone therapy (HT) at our Greenwich, CT office.

Membership & Services

  1. Do I need to be a member to receive care?
Yes, The Elm operates on a membership model due to the fact that we offer extended appointment times, multiple visits a year and access to our expert clinicians. Additionally,  there is a lot of work done “behind the scenes” including updating our medical protocols with the latest medical guidelines and science, maintaining rigorous safety protocols, coordinating with specialists, appealing insurance denials and thoughtfully preparing each appointment to ensure you receive the most personalized and highest level of care. This quiet consistent attention to detail allows us to provide the high quality, compassionate and modern care that every woman deserves.
  2. Why Membership?
There are several reasons. Firstly, our face to face time with patients is only a small part of the care we dedicate to patients. Behind the scenes we spend hours reviewing labs, plans and coordinating care with other providers. We regularly dedicate time as a team to review patient care plans and adjust as necessary. The membership fee allows us to do this.

Second, Dr. Robbins is a recognized national expert and educator in women’s midlife health and perimenopause. Her knowledge and expertise are reflected in her method and the results patients receive at The Elm.

Third, at The Elm we believe in providing dynamic evolving care based on the latest science and research. This takes time in order to attend medical conferences, read research and adjust protocols but ensures you are receiving the most up to date care.
  3. What are the membership options?
    We offer:
Full Annual Concierge Membership – includes in-person care, annual exams, labs, follow-ups, medication management, and messaging access.
Six-Month Virtual Hormone Therapy Program – a high touch telehealth-based membership focused on hormone therapy for perimenopause and menopause.
  4. Do you accept insurance?
In order to allow longer visits and greater access, we are not able to participate with commercial insurance. However:
    • All labs, imaging, and pathology (e.g., pap smears) are submitted through your insurance.
    • We provide superbills for annual visits and procedures, which you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.
Please note: We are not responsible for denied reimbursement claims.
  5. Do you treat perimenopause/menopause?
Yes, all practitioners at The Elm are certified in perimenopause and menopause care (The Menopause Society). They utilize Dr. Robbins' specialized methodology to create dynamic, personalized care plans, often involving bio-identical hormone therapy, testosterone, FDA-approved medications, and innovative longevity treatments.
  6. I'm not sure which membership is right for me. What should I do?
We’re here to help! You can email our practice at info@theelmgreenwich.com to schedule a complimentary 15-minute informational call with our Practice Manager, Karen, to learn more about our offerings and determine how The Elm can best support your care needs.
Please note: This call is for informational purposes only. No medical advice will be provided during the conversation.

Medications & Labs

  1. Are prescriptions and lab work included in the program?
Medication management, lab, and imaging ordering are included, but the cost of medications, labs, and imaging depends on your insurance coverage. If you are prescribed compounded medications such as testosterone or medications used off-label (e.g., Zepbound for weight loss), please note that these are typically not covered by insurance and would be an out-of-pocket expense.
  2. Will my Medicaid or Medicare cover my medications if I join The Elm?
Our practitioners are not enrolled in Medicaid or Medicare, therefore any care or medications prescribed must be done outside of these programs.

Telehealth Services

  1. Can I do everything virtually?
Yes! Our Virtual Hormone Therapy program is 100% virtual and available to patients in eligible states (CT,NY, and NJ). It includes secure telehealth visits, messaging access, lab coordination, and prescription management.
  2. What if I’m already on hormone therapy and want to transition care or get a second opinion?
Yes, we can certainly help. You're welcome to enroll in our Virtual Hormone Therapy Program. During your initial consultation, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your current regimen, goals, and whether continuing or modifying your plan with us is the right fit.
  3. How do I know if I’m a candidate for your hormone therapy program?
We are experts in knowing who are candidates for hormone therapy (HT) and how to treat perimenopause and menopause. In our experience, many women have been told they are not candidates who are in fact eligible for hormone therapy (HT). Most women in perimenopause or menopause experiencing symptoms such as hot flashes, low libido, sleep disruption, brain fog, fatigue, mood changes, or weight gain are strong candidates for HT. The best way to find out is to schedule an initial consultation, where we’ll review your symptoms, medical history, and goals to determine if our program is the right fit for you.
  4. Is Hormone Therapy safe to start if I’m past the “ideal window” or over 60?
Age is not a strict contraindication but our clinicians must complete a consult and assess the medical history especially cardiovascular risk and health. Many women however, can benefit from hormone therapy (HT) even if they are many years past menopause.
